RADISHES
The radish is an edible root vegetable of the Brassicaceae family that was domesticated in Europe in pre-Roman times. Radishes are grown and consumed throughout the world, being mostly eaten raw as a crunchy salad vegetable.
Radishes are low in saturated fat, and very low in cholesterol. They are also a good source of riboflavin, vitamin B6, Calcium, Magnesium, Copper and Manganese, and a very good source of dietary fiber, vitamin C, folate and potassium.
